Şablon vaten:Big Brother endgame
Show/Hide
[çımeyi bıvurne]I don't like the Show/Hide button. When the list shows, the template looks all boxy and ugly, and it's annoying to have to click "Show" every time to see the housemates' entry, exit, etc. Geoking66 03:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- The whole point is that it's less intrusive and in your face. —JD[don't talk|email] 09:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Legend
[çımeyi bıvurne]On many of the BBUK and BBAU articles where this template is used, the legend is all off-centre. I think we should change the legend so that each part of it is on a different line, so then it is symmetrical. godgoddingham333 11:14, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds good. Plus, that would make it easier to put more stuff on it without worrying about positioning. —JD[don't talk|email] 11:16, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Runner-Up
[çımeyi bıvurne]Okay, what with the new modifications and all, I think we can safely decide upon a separate Runner-Up colour. Any suggestions? —JD[don't talk|email] 12:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- The nominated colour. y'know that shade of blue... godgoddingham333 12:19, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Legend order
[çımeyi bıvurne]Should Winner not be at the top, Evicted be next, and other things after that; or the other way round, with Winner at the top, Evicted at the bottom, and other stuff in the middle? Or is it fine as it is? --JD[don't talk|email] 13:24, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- I think it should be winner, runner up, evicted, walked. That's everything right? --LorianTC 13:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Think so. —JD[don't talk|email] 13:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
No, what about walked. I think Winner, runner-up, evicted, walked, removed/ejected/disqualified... godgoddingham333 14:16, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- We need more colours then, perhaps the ones on the nominations table (I know how many times I've debated using these colours...), assuming there's a separate colour for everything, and as long as some of them aren't too similar. —JD[don't talk|email] 14:18, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- yeh, whatever... godgoddingham333 14:46, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- How nice... Anyway, Evicted, Ejected, and Walked, all look a bit too similar, does that matter? --JD[don't talk|email] 14:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

name;exited;entered
[çımeyi bıvurne]Is there a way of making the top line (name;exited;evicted) centre-aligned?? godgoddingham333 23:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Is there? IMHO, it would look better. godgoddingham 333 01:05, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Image
[çımeyi bıvurne]Is there a reason why images used with this template won't center-align? Or is it just my browser? J Di 23:35, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- I added a |center| to the image tag, which seems to have fixed it. Tra (Talk) 00:13, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh right, it's Template:Big Brother housemates I kept butchering. I'm starting to think that there may be too many templates... J Di 00:25, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Spacing
[çımeyi bıvurne]Can someone fix the spacing of this template so that the prose in the article does not butt up against it. It looks awful. Thanks. - Jeeny Talk 18:12, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've added a 5px padding round the edge. Does that improve it or should that value be changed? Tra (Talk) 23:10, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Extra color to template.
[çımeyi bıvurne]I have added "legend6" (a pale green color) to the endgame template. This color was added to the {{Big Brother housemates}}
template after a discussion to add another color.
In the Big Brother (US) articles "legend3" is used for the Head of Household, not for who walks. In the past seven seasons Big Brother US has not had a contestant walk from the show but this season (8) there have been talks of a contestant wanting to walk from the show. In order to maintain a continuity with the US seasons I have added "legend6" to this template so if anyone walks in Big Brother 8 (US) or future Big Brother US seasons then there wouldn't be any problems. I have two examples below IF someone walked from the Big Brother 8 house and what it would look like in both the {{Big Brother housemates}}
template and the {{Big Brother endgame}}
template. This will not affect any infobox in past series/seasons unless they are modified to include the new color. Alucard 16 22:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't think it was necessary to add the 6th legend to the Endgame thing. In fact, it probably would be best if in the Housemates Template we just switched the HoH Color to that Pale Green. If somebody walked, we could make it the same yellow as every other country. T (Formerly Known as FireSpike) 01:33, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Tried that, people said it would be confusing, even more so if the color was switched mid game. Alucard 16 02:05, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- I say be bold and change it. T (Formerly Known as FireSpike) 02:07, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- When the "legend6" was added to the
{{Big Brother housemates}}
table I did change HoH to green but it kept getting changed back to "legend3" so I gave up. I would prefer if it was green or "legend6" Alucard 16 02:46, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

- I think legend 6 should be added to endgame, since this would cover the situation where it's used for a status that applies to a housemate after they have left the House. Tra (Talk) 11:05, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Color Changes
[çımeyi bıvurne]I am proposing making a color change to the infoboxes used so the colors for Nominated, Head of Household, Evicted, Walked, and Ejected will match the colors used in Nominations/Voting History Tables. This will affect both the housemates and endgame infoboxes. I have a more in depth discussion going on over at the talk page for WikiProject:Big Brother See my discussion here. HouseGuests
[çımeyi bıvurne]Why does it say Housemates, and not HouseGuests? - Rjd0060 18:16, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've added an option to the template to allow the wording of the housemates heading to be changed. Putting
| housemates=HouseGuests
will allow the template to be correct for BB US articles. Tra (Talk) 21:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)- Great! Thank You. - Rjd0060 21:06, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Colors
[çımeyi bıvurne]After a minor glitch, I have successfully moved the color switch statements to {{Big Brother endgame/color}}
, which is similar to the method used by {{Infobox album}}
. This dramatically reduced the size of the template, and means there is only one place where the colors need to be changed (if necessary). Note that the leading is necessary before color specifications starting a # symbol. Otherwise, wikipedia renders these as enumerated list elements. Let me know if there are any problems. Thanks! 20:56, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- The IE color bug should now be fixed. There is a problem in Internet Explorer with mixing CSS style commands with bgcolor commands. I switched them all to standard CSS. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 03:45, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
